I think that it is very good that you have improved since the beginning of the year. I can tell that you worked really hard on your I-Search, it was very good. It is also good that you continued to work hard with your busy schedule, i also know that it is hard to do that. Overall, nice job and keep working hard!

I can see that Shannon is excited for her next three years in GHS, especially to continue her writing and reading. She has surely worked hard this year, and I believe that her habits have deepened over the course of the semester. It was great to see her growth over the course of the year through her writing examples.

Shannon, while reading over your cover page, I was impressed at the work you have done and all of the things you have improved on this year. However, once I got down to the bottom of the cover letter, I noticed that you did not tell the reader of the letter which evidence goes to each paragraph. The reader can probably infer which evidence you are referring to, but it confused me a lot. I think one thing you should do, is edit over your paragraph and say which evidence goes where. You started as, "I chose this piece because..." You should say, "I chose evidence number one as a piece of writing because..." Other than that, I think you have a good cover letter. Nice job.
